Re: problems with windows 7
Run in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode, and run it as administrator also. Launch FROM THE DESKTOP. Do NOT launch JKA from Xfire.
I get that error everytime i launch from Xfire, but I can launch from the desktop no problem.

Is your JKA fully updated Piipe? I've never had any issues running JKA in Win7, and I've been using it since RTM =/ (before retail release)

I still say he doesn't have the right video driver if he's still having this problem.
BTW, I wouldn't disable UAC....it takes an extra click...so what?

Re: problems with windows 7
I would. You say it's one extra click now but, in reality, it's one for every program you open. Over time, those clicks accumulate and become significant time sinks. Just imagine, without UAC you could potentially save thousands of seconds per year. Wouldn't you and your family be better off without UAC?Max Rambone wrote:I still say he doesn't have the right video driver if he's still having this problem.
