Thinking of having you guys get involved.. I have one box texture redone, but there is another one left.. how about a "design a crate" contest? You sketch it in MS Paint, and I'll flesh it out in PS.

Also, I would say I have about 60-70% of the textures replaced.. anyone that wants to try them, I can upload them here and tell you how to package them into your game (you'll need winrar)

You can't just make a pk3 of it that you can throw in base? Won't it override any of the default ones in assets?

I'm not sure, I don't know the technicalities of it all. :s

If someone wants to figure that out for me, that would be the way I'd prefer to release it.

It's been a while but I'm sure if you send me the files I'll figure it out again. If I recall every pk3 has the same file/folder structure as the assets and when it pulls the pk3s on bootup it replaces all the files it has in assets for that launch.

I made a backup of my assets1.pk3 anyway, I'll just toss the default one in my base and try experimenting with pk3s that have my textures in them.

If all else fails, put 'zzz_' in front of the .pk3 name. I believe that is the ultimate overwrite.....
