savvy is taken from the Spanish infinitive 'saber' (to know) and another word, it wasn't much of a joke just a bit of a pun.

bcuz im pretty sure that on that case is "sabi"
with one "b" and a "i"

savvy is TAKEN from Spanish and some other language that I can't remember, it's a mixture of two.
