mike isn't weird, he just has off-the-beaten path interests (fixations?) that some consider weird. having "weird" obsessions doesn't necessarily make someone weird. a lot of people think gaming is weird, for example. it's all just perception.
that's not saying that there aren't weird people out there btw. that's a different debate altogether.
