Very impressive. I like the amount of details you've included.

Bob: The Danes aren't a major world power, don't particularly hate us to the extent of suicide bombers, and provide no major benefit; therefore we don't pay them much attention.
Kerafym: Did Yoda just try to make fun of my grammar?
wat?

Holy shit...if you got this working in Minecraft and this catches on in the Minecraft community, we might actually complete the mission to revive siege
Can you simulate the actual gameplay of siege? And fight people and whatnot?

We've done a variant of siege on the server I play on before, but it was really more like TFFA.
Everyone got Creative Mode for about a half hour to fortify their base. In this case, it was our city vs. an attacking boat. We made all kinds of traps like tripwire\pressure plate TNT. Put cobwebs everywhere (they're sticky, and slow players that run through them down significantly.) And working cannons. Ever since we played that PVP, we've been building our cities with more complex traps like retractable stairs, surprise lava-death-pits, trip-wire arrow shooters, etc.
Once the bases were fortified, each player was given 3 lives. It was basically a fight to the death at this point, though each side did have a flag inside their base that could be destroyed to end the game too.
After a bit of digging for something more siege-y, I just found this:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/146 ... uistadors/
Naturally, this would have to be modified to be more siegey. More lives, possible spawn timers, and tailor the mod to fit our siege maps (instead of destroying gold blocks, destroying the CC) I'm sure there is a CTF mod that could be dismantled to substitute for a Desert map, capture the droid parts.1. You only get 1 life.
2. No glitching, hacking, or cheating of any kind.
3. You win after destroying EVERY(5) gold block in the opponents castle, and all the opposing players are dead.
4. You can only yews TNT to destroy the gold blocks.
5.You can only place TNT on mossy cobblestone, it won't explode if you don't.
6. Teams are made of 3-8 Players.
7. Games last until one team wins, there is no time limit and chests refill every 15 minutes.
8.You can only place TNT, sand(in shops), and ladders.
9.You can only break TNT and leaves.
10.Do not leave the map boundaries.
We've got some smart cookies, I'm sure if we wanted to we could replicate siege pretty well in MC. I don't know anything about coding (I would assume everything is in javascript) So someone else would have to do that though.
@Guard: You said you had a jkasiege.com minecraft server running, yes? I can send you what I have done of my Hoth map done, and you can run it on that server if you want. It's not done yet, but still food for thought.

Yeah, its minecraft.jkasiege.com, maybe we can have the first siege server of Minecraft! Wonder if J3rk/Kera/etc would be on board to help with this?

I'd help out wherever needed. While not a coding whiz myself, I'm fairly decent at reverse engineering stuff. Plus building things.
