I think most of the guys that make games for a living are hax...

Like half the maps I had on my old download page were yours and all those were way better than 'suess.' :)

Each base siege map has bugs and what-not, but we paid for 'em anyway. :/

One of my personal favs that not many people really gave a chance was Droidball.

Anyone remember Hydroball? That was awesome and the only thing that would have made Droidball better would have been some kind of long shot system like Hydroball had.

Yeah, from a mapping point of view, Raven's maps are shit.

I just found out recently that the Hydroball mod was made by the dude who coded the Siege module in JKA, heh. I never played it but I may need to fire it up one day.

I emailed the Siege/Hydroball author to try and get him to release a new version, and I offered to make a map or two for it. He seemed more open to the idea than I expected, though it's still a long shot.

Well, I have no idea where the source is anymore (I think it was lost a couple hard drives ago, actually, unless I burned it to a CD which is buried somewhere in storage). So it's unlikely I'll ever be able to continue it or release the source code. But thanks for playing it and keeping interest in it for all these years! Fortunately, the loss of that code probably isn't a big deal, because I think it'd be a relatively short hack job to get back up from scratch if you know anything about working with GHOUL2 (and I'm guessing a few people do, since some of them have been modding the game for the better half of a decade). I'd consider doing this myself if there were more than a few people interested in it (but as this post suggests, my plate is currently a bit full).

Checking in again to see if this has this been pugged yet. It's designed specifically with pugs in mind so it should play pretty well, and if not, feedback is welcome as I'm sure I've mentioned.

P.S. Sorry that the post order got all screwy, I failed at attempting to merge 2 topics.
