Meh, my point still stands too about Tempest noobstomps. I've found more often than not I drive away people from the server when either:

1. They get frustrated as to why they are losing so bad and rage quit
2. They get frustrated as to why they are losing so bad and try to teamswitch, causing all kinds of imbalance and making other people do (1)

Pubbing wasn't "pubbing" until pugs existed. It was just "playing the game."

When pugs existed, they created a monopoly of skilled players. Outside of like Wufei and Guard, I can't think of any good players who still pubbed consistently after pugging came about. Maybe a few other people once in a while, but it went from there being a pretty good chance of running into multiple strong players in a public server to there being a pretty good chance of there not even being one good player.

After Euro siege died there were a few somewhat decent Euros that pubbed a bit too. Not sure who stopped first but yeah when there isn't a decent player pubbing on the other team it's not as fun for me anymore.
