Getting tired of G11? Is there a particular reason?

I get tired of all my keyboards after like 2-3 years or so when they start collecting dirt and shit on them =/

yes, actually you can totally pop the keys out of most keyboards and put them back in. unless you're a tool like me who uses a mac keyboard on windows LOL (I like the laptop-ish feel to the keys, suz). But this one doesn't actually get dirty very easily...

you don't even need to take all of the keys out. Just blow some compressed air in there to blow out all of the stuff under the actual keys, you can scrape the stuff off of the sides of the keys off with pretty much anything. Like a toothpick or something would do.

Might be a little tedious, but it's a hell've a lot smarter than throwing away a perfectly good keyboard. I personally just don't even give a shit about the filth on my keyboard - I'm the only person that uses mine and I don't really get it all that dirty anyway.

I've been using the same keyboard for a good 5-6 years now. I've never cleaned it, but then again, it's not that dirty. If I wanted to clean it (if I'm bored or trying to avoid studying), probably the hardest part would be putting all the keys back correctly.

It's weird, I don't actually think about what key does what and probably couldn't tell you exactly what keys perform each function without having to look at the keyboard. I just remember where they are spatially. I'd imagine this is the same for a lot of people who aren't two-finger typists.

If I've removed my keys to clean them, I put my hands over the keyboard and imagine typing out a sentence to remember where they should go back in.
