I think it would be extremely helpful for pugs (and zombs) if there were some sort of scheduler here on the forums so people could put in their account when they are available to pug (or zomb). Even if it's some basic weekly model of when you usually have time, I think it could greatly help because then everybody could just check it, and see in advance whether pugs (or zombs) are likely to happen that day and if so when.
It could be anything from a simple html table to a server script run algorithm taking into account even people's player preferences (IE: trk and archi don't mix very well, and jkb usually only shows up for vail or jwa); really just up to the implementer.
Plus, people wouldn't have to slow down their computers to run xfire in the background while doing everyday tasks on the off-chance that vail or pipe message them for a pug.
Anyways, just an idea I had that I thought I'd share. Thanks for reading this far and hopefully considering it!

Good idea, but it's been tried before.
The trackers we've been using kinda show when the server is used the most...daily/weekly/monthly.
Anyways, I'm always down for trying whatever.

Well, at least we're banned from using Anub's shitty zomb classes now
But jerk did make the zombie mod, right? At least to start...

rofl, it was a joke... although occasionally xfire will have some sort of leak and start using way too much resources.Magyk wrote:thisTurky wrote:rofl what the fuck are you talking about loraxDarth_Wayne wrote:lol wutlorax wrote:Plus, people wouldn't have to slow down their computers to run xfire in the background

Btw: sorry for bailing on the p00g last night guys. Turns out my internet kept going down because there was a massive storm. We lost power for like 6 hours shortly after I disconnected, and I had to help pump water out of the basement
