Re: ATTN: People Protesting TOR
If it is released an emulator of it, then I may play.

Re: ATTN: People Protesting TOR
I'm only making a decision on this game when they come out with a trial (usually that's like 3-4 months after initial release for MMOs) but I'm not straight up going to dish out $65 to play it for one month, only to find out I don't like it.

It's actually pretty beast.
Besides...
I've said this before...I'm almost always on xfire these days....and almost as much on vent.
I still love to play JA, but it's pretty annoying when the only sixth we can get is someone who is either a pub spammer, has no idea how to play a pug, and/or has to leave "in 10 mins."
In addition, as far as I know, Trk and i are the only ones playing SWTOR now that are also regular puggers.
So, as long as it's not a shitty "i g2g in 10" pug and I'm not doing something semi-important in some other game...I WILL COME2PUG.

You understand that game developers have to eat right?Silver Absolution wrote:If it is released an emulator of it, then I may play.

The only excuse for pirating a game is if: it's too old to get ANYWHERE, it's not available in your country or planned to EVER be released in your country, or your country has banned it from being imported (those aussies have some weird laws
Think of it as an investment in the future of gaming. Buy great games like ToR, ME, Portal, etc. and don't shell out 60 dollars every year for a map/roster update for CoD/Madden. Then at least the horrible studios will start cloning games from this century, and we can hopefully get even better games in the future instead of 50 reskins of Unreal a year.

Hooookay, well still not paying 50 dollars for a game I might play for 30 days and end up not liking.tens0r wrote:You actually get 1 month freeMagyk wrote:I'm only making a decision on this game when they come out with a trial (usually that's like 3-4 months after initial release for MMOs) but I'm not straight up going to dish out $65 to play it for one month, only to find out I don't like it.

The way I look at it if you play a game you buy for at least an hour for every dollar you spend it's not a waste of money.
