How to Deal with Veader, and Lesson for You All

The dealings I've had with him have been mostly me being, if not courteous, then at least professional with him, and in all of those cases, it was started be either him mouthing off to someone or someone calling him out on his bike-killing or some other newbish thing he had done. The worst I've done is tell him to shut up when he's being particularly verbally abusive, and then he always shifts his attention to me, when I have to warn and then silence him.

Also, when I come to Tempest, I'm not necessarily wanting to perpetuate some child's fantasy that he is the center of the universe. I shouidn't have to do that, and neither should anyone else. I'm all for diplomacy, but feeding delusions of grandeur is a lot to ask and may end up hurting his mental health in the long run, anyway.

I do feel sorry for the kid, and I wish things were different in his life so that he wouldn't feel inclined to do the things he does, but he shouldn't be any different than anyone else who comes on the server. Furthermore, if he breaks the rules, I *will* yews admin accordingly on him, though I'll try and be as diplomatic as possible before I'm forced to that point. It's all up to veader how far things escalate.

A few days ago I was playing on Tempest, and we were on the shield gen, and I didn't even know this Veader guy was a problem (until, like, right now.) but I said something after he died in the ATST like "Nice try, almost got it Veader" or something like that and never had any problems with him.

As a personal thing, i'm trying to be nicer to people when I play on Tempest - That way I don't look like a complete jackass, and I can save up some insulting power for Impulse. =P

I think ive only seen veader blow up once or twice. Otherwise he was fine and just like any other person on tempest. Said "F... that" sometimes, but almost every person does that every once n awhile. He gives the server "spicyness"
