You say that like it's a bad thing. PC's are infinitely better for FPS, RPG, and RTS games, which are my favourite genres of games. Consoles have the edge for sports and fighting games (and the like) which are less complex in nature. PC games also have the bonus of custom user created mods/content, which can do wonders in replayability and keeping a game alive.C2PO wrote:Oh, and a console comes with a controller, I don't have to play with a keyboard and mouse.

gold.Turky wrote:PCs are also better because of how you're able to modify games (looking at the bright side not the dark side). You can do rax jorises, avi them, and make a vid -- is that even possible on the console?
and @ c2po, they have controllers for PC too. You can buy one with as many fucking buttons as you want, you aren't even stuck with the same one like you are for a console.

Re: Favorite Games of all time:
OK, I'll give you the modding thing. But even still, PC games don't last as long as console games in terms of memory from the mass populous. You tell someone "Hey, remember Super Mario Bros?" and they'll say YEAH! Then you tell somoeone "Hey, rememeber Myst?" and you'll get something like WTF is THAT?.
PC games fade into obscurity far too often.

Now that's the tastiest crunch I ever hoid.

I remember Myst!
Off the top of my head, Counter-Strike, Quake III and Starcraft have all stood the test of time and are still among the most played multiplayer games today.

Oh yeah....Speaking of controversy....
Let's throw the GTA series out there.
I know it's available on consoles, but it's primary platform was the PC.

it's = it is.
And I have a biased vendetta against anything GTA, I got to listen to my roommate playing it freshman year, and all the garbage as fuck shitty music that came with it.
