Keep making games based on the gay clone wars cartoon series?
http://lucasarts.com/games/theclonewars_republicheroes/
It is such a waste of time and game designers.
I suppose at least this one is going to be on PC as well, with possibly a multiplayer aspect?

Re: Why does LucasArts
Republic Commandos was amazing, I don't know why they don't dish out a sequel for that. It sold well enough.
Personally, I think the majority of Lucas Arts games are shitty now anyways, the last good one I can honestly remember playing was KotOR2. Then again, I'm partial to the 90's point-and-click Lucas Arts adventure games like Day of the Tentacle.

I was really drooling over the sequel to Full Throttle, but the 'Powers that be' at LucasArts file 13-ed it.

Ditto; I'm still waiting on Monkey Island 5 honestly; if they ever make it, hopefully it won't be completely awful like Escape from Monkey Island was. Good thing for "Tales of Monkey Island" and "Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition" coming out soon though, at least the series isn't dead.

Re: Why does LucasArts
i totally agree!
instead of just making a proper multiplayer game that includes saber combat such as the basic egoshooter viewpoints they keep making shitty games that are like license games from movies(bullshit cheap gameplay)
Battlefront 2 was kinda cool but the reborn boss combat aspects are just total crap...
Let's just keep wishing for another reborn boss knight like game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Why does LucasArts
That's what made JK special, adding lightsabers to what would have otherwise been just another generic shooter.Magyk wrote:Why do we even need more shooters?
Like 10 come out everyday.

Re: Why does LucasArts
Uniqueness is my biggest problem with shooters, that's why I freak the hell out everytime someone says "Halo is the best game ever." because it's the most bland and generic sci-fi shooter i've ever played.
I always liked online games because of the people to be honest though. I mean think about UJ back in it's prime, like 03-06, I used to be able to spend hours on the U not even dueling, just fooling around and talking to people.
Jesus guard, I've known you for a long damn time, as far as the internet gos anyway.
