JKAsiege: Now with 99.9999% less spambots
Hey guys,
I have spent considerable time adding code to combat the spambot outbreak. Now whenever an account is created, the IP address is automatically queried against 25 or so major external spambot databases. If the IP address is a hit and identified as a known spammer (by basically the rest of the world), our website will now block registration and auto-ban the culprit permanently, even if they get the captcha's right and have a valid email address.
I expect this to significantly lower our spam attacks, the only time we will see one now is if it is a new IP address obtained by a spammer, or if we are the first website a new spammer ever visits. I have also implemented a quick click way for me to ban them and report them to the same spam databases so other people can also yews this information to identify spammers for their own purposes...so we can also contribute to the greater good of the internet.

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!

Bob: The Danes aren't a major world power, don't particularly hate us to the extent of suicide bombers, and provide no major benefit; therefore we don't pay them much attention.
Kerafym: Did Yoda just try to make fun of my grammar?

But why should innocent people be victims of war like this.......
Re: JKAsiege: Now with 99.9999% less spambots
It's always the innocent who get hurt the worst in war.
